Step 1: Download and run the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool

Before downloading and running Norton Removal tool, make sure that you uninstall the existing Norton product installed on your device. Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool will help you in removing all Norton products from your PC.

•   Download the Norton Removal and Reinstall tool.
•   Save the file to the Windows desktop. Some browsers are set to save downloaded files automatically at the default location.
•   Press the Ctrl + J key to open the Downloads window in your browser.
•   Click the NRnR icon twice.
•   Go through the license agreement, and click Agree.
•   Click Advanced Options then Remove Only and then Remove.
•   Next click Restart Now.
•   Next follow the on-screen instructions after the computer restarts to reinstall your Norton product.

Step 2: Uninstall any non-Symantec security product

•   Press Windows + R keys together to open Run Box
•   Type in the text “appwiz.cpl”in the search field and hit Enter
•   Look for the non-Symantec security product in the list of currently installed programs, and then click Uninstall or Remove option
•   Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall and removal process
•   After the uninstall process completes,restart the computer

Step 3: Update the Video graphics driver

•   Press the Windows + R keys together to open the Run dialog box
•   Type in the text “devmgmt.msc” in the search field and press Enter
•   In the Device Manager window, click twice on Display adapters
•   Right-click on the HD graphics card and choose Properties
•   On the Driver tab, verify if you are using an outdated or current graphics card driver
•   Update your current downloadif the driver is outdated and install the latest version of the graphics card driver
•   Visit the official website of your graphics card manufacturer: AMD/ATI Radeon HD video graphics, Intel HD video graphics, or NVIDIA graphics to install the latest graphics card driver
•   Restart the computer and check if the issue has been fixed
