How to Fix Error 3038, 109 Occurs on my Norton Product?

Hello Friends…..

The error 3038, 109 occurs on my Norton product when I try to full virus scan my computer using the Norton antivirus program.

The antivirus was running quite well before some days but now what happen I don’t know anything.

The worst thing is I don’t know about the error 3038, 19 why it’s appearing and how can I fix it.

Therefore, it’s my humble request to entire experienced and proficient technicians and forum members to help me.

For fixing the error 3038, 109, just run the LiveUpdate and then run a scan with the Norton Power Eraser.

The steps mentioned below are for the current version of the Norton products so that if you have an older version of the app then please update that first and follow the instructions:

Step 1: Run the LiveUpdate

•   Just start your Norton product.
•   Under the main window, tap Security, and then hit LiveUpdate.
•   When Norton LiveUpdate is completed, tap OK.
•   Now run the LiveUpdate until you view the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."
•   Exit all the applications, and restart the system.

Step 2: Download and run the Norton Power Eraser

•   Download the Norton Power Eraser.
•   Tap Save.
•   Choose the location as Desktop, and then tap Save.
•   To run the Norton Power Eraser, just double-tap the NPE.exe file.
•   If the User Account Control window asks, tap Yes or Continue.
•   Now read the license agreement, and tap Accept.
•   Under the Norton Power Eraser window, tap the Scan for Risks icon.
•   By default, Norton Power Eraser does a Rootkit scan and needs a system restart. When you view a prompt to restart the PC, tap Restart. And if you don’t want to combine the Rootkit scan, just go to Settings, and then uncheck the option Include Rootkit scan (needs a computer restart).
•   Wait for the scan to finish.
•   Now exit all the applications, and restart your PC.
