Turn Movement into Music with Phonotonic
« on: November 30, 2016, 11:36:13 AM »
Phonotonic is a nifty music device that turns your movements into music. The very interesting thing about Phonotonic is that you can play music on it without having any actual knowledge of music as this device turns your movements into music. Initially you may not be comfortable with the device, but after playing with it for a few minutes, you will start enjoying. It will produce different sounds when you move your arms, legs, and hands. You will enjoy different sounds coming out of it.

Phonotonic is a simple device and make it work, you can connect it through WiFi to your Android phone or tablet. It contains the same kind of sensors that smartphones have. It comes in a silicon sphere and you can put it into your pocket or the sensor into any object. Launch the companion app of Phonotonic, select the main line and rhythm and just get started.  To play and hear some good jazz music, chiptune music, rock and roll and more, dance around with two spheres.

The manufacturers of the device are currently working on more apps to follow its model. Products and app are constantly evolving. Phonotonic has motion sensors app that create and control the music. With Phonotonic, transform motion into music. It is a combination wearable (the sensor) and an app (the brain) that works in real-time to turn your moves into music. To measures every movement, it uses its sensors to communicate with the Phonotonic app via Bluetooth. It is the app that coverts that data into music in real time.

The app has a list of tracks and you can choose any of the tracks from the library. Track will be played from the list and the movements of the user will direct rhythm and melody. It took two years to build the device. The device sound is very natural and you can feel that it rhythmically changes its modulation when you move faster or slower. Means music changes as per your movements. It is a nice device and to understand completely, you need to give at least a try to it.

Phonotonic gives you a truly unique musical experience. It enables every user to make music in a simple and intuitive way. So just don't play music, be music. Charge Phonotonic with micro USB and use two phonotonics to control the rhythm and the melody separately to have a rich and fun experience.
