Like the original Pixel, the camera on the pair of phones (Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL both) has a 12-megapixel sensor. With the new pair of phones, you get a portrait mode that looks like Apple's iPhone 8 Plus. The only difference is; the updated phones use only one camera either the front 8-megapixel shooter or the back camera instead of using two cameras.

With optical stabilization, this pair of phones pair Google's existing software-based stabilization which is good if any user takes blurry shots.
