iOS 10 is about to launch this fall with a ton of new features and these features needs to be tested before the official launch of the software. So Apple is once again letting to check out iOS 10 to interested users and share their feedback before its wide release. if you're also interested, you can download and install iOS 10 public beta. For that you have the download and install process. It is bit different, but not complicated. You just need to go through the document to know it how.

How to create an archived backup of your iPhone or iPad
Make sure you back up your iPhone or iPad before downloading developer preview. The beta process is fairly straight forward and you may make any significant change to your device any time if you sense any risk. So make an archived backup of your personal data even if you back up it every night because it is better to be safe than sorry. Just follow the steps to create backup:
•   Plug iPhone or iPad into your Mac or Windows PC.
•   Launch iTunes.
•   When the iPhone or iPad icon appears in the menu bar, tap on that.
•   Ensure that backup is set to This Computer. (Also enable Encrypted backup because it's worth)
•   Tap on the Back Up Now. (for security, tap on Encrypt Backup and add a password )
•   If asked, back up Apps.
•   Open Preferences taping on Command. (Alternatively, access iTunes in the menu bar and tap on Preferences.
•   Tap on the Devices tab.
•   Tap on option Backup and choose Archive.
If you archive your current backup, it will not be overwritten by an iOS 10 backup in the future and you can revert to the previous state if you want.
How to register for the iOS 10 public beta
If you have joined Apple public beta already in the past you don’t need to register again for iOS 10; just sign in with the same Apple ID. Start by signing up with your Apple ID If you is not registered.
•   Access on the iPhone or iPad on which you wish to enroll in the beta.
•   To get started, tap on Sign up. (If you have signed up for a previous public beta, tap on Sign in and skip the step"How to enroll your device" )
•   Enter you Apple ID (or email address) and password then tap on Sign in button.
•   Tap on the Accept button to agree to the terms and conditions.
Once you are signed up and signed in, you are ready to start downloading.
How to enroll for iPhone or iPad in the iOS 10 public beta
To validate devices for the iOS 10 public beta, Apple is using configuration profiles.
You may need to remove the previous beta profile before installing the iOS 10 version if you have been on a previous iOS public beta. To delete previous profile, go to Settings > General > Profile, selecting the iOS Beta Software Profile, and tap on the button Delete Profile. Now follow the instructions given below to enroll for iPhone or iPad in the iOS 10 public beta:
•   Access
•   Tap the iOS tab.
•   Tap on the button Download profile.
•   In the upper right corner, tap on Install button.
•   Enter your Passcode.
•   Read the beta agreement before tapping on Install button.
•   To confirm once again, tap on the yes button at the bottom to Install
•   Tap on Restart button now to reboot your device.
Once rebooting is finished your iPhone or iPad, downloading of iOS 10 will start automatically.
How to install the iOS 10 public beta
For installing the iOS 10 beta, you need to visit Software Update on your iPhone or iPad.
•   From your Home screen, launch Settings tap on General, then tap on Software Update.
•   As the update appears, tap on Download and Install.
•   Enter your Passcode.
•   Accept the Terms and Conditions.
•   Again, tap on Agree to confirm.
Your iPhone or iPad will reboot to install iOS 10 and it will take some time to finish it. Couple progress bars will be showing across the screen while the installation process.
How to get started with iOS 10 public beta
iOS 10 will be running once your iPhone or iPad reboots. A brief bit of setup you will need to go through and you will be asked to login to complete the update as the system will have changed enough.
•   Tap Continue.
•   Enter your Apple ID password. Your iCloud settings will update, so wait for some time.
•   Tap Get Started.
Once everything is done correctly, you will be on the Home screen and ready to go with iOS 10.
